Investment Management Accounts
Trust & Wealth Management
The Investment Management Account (IMA) is a discretionary investment account wherein the customer determines an investment strategy, establishes guidelines for the Bank to implement this strategy, and the Bank as your agent monitors your strategy.
The IMA account offers a unique opportunity for our retail customers to take advantage of many of our Trust & Wealth Management services, such as the expertise of our investment process and the ability to purchase mutual funds, which are normally load funds on a no-load basis. The bank can purchase many highly successful funds from families such as the Fidelity Group of Funds, Franklin Funds, Vanguard Funds, Federated Funds and many others. Some of these funds charge sales fees as high as 3% to 6%. By using Southwest National Bank's Trust & Wealth Management Services, you are able to purchase these funds without a sales charge for your IMA account.
The IMA account was developed to provide additional investment products for our customers. Not only can mutual funds be purchased for the IMA account, but stocks, corporate and tax free bonds, and annuities may also be utilized.
We invite you to contact us to come in and discuss our services without charge or obligation.
