Open a new account

Review old account
Review your old account and organize your transactions that will be switched to your new Southwest National Bank account. This is made simple with the use of our Transaction Checklist.
Simply review your account history and fill in the log listing your direct deposits and automatic payments. This will help make sure everything has been updated.

Transfer direct deposits
You'll need to contact your employer and any other sources of your direct deposits so your funds can be automatically deposited to your Southwest National Bank account. To make that easier for you, we've created a form for you complete and give to them to facilitate the change.
To update Social Security or other federal benefit payments, contact them at 800-772-1213.

Transfer automatic payments
You'll also need to contact any company debiting your account with your new account information. To help with that, we've created a form for you complete and give to them to facilitate the change.

Close old account
Once all your direct deposits and automatic debits listed on your Transaction Checklist have posted to your new account, it's time to close your old account. Use our Account Closing Letter (link below) to request your previous financial institution close your account(s) and give directions on how to disburse any of your remaining funds.
